If you’re wondering why I haven’t been terribly active on the blogosphere lately, it’s because I’ve been working on a few articles for external publications.
The first of these pieces has just been released in the third issue of NatureVolve: a digital magazine that connects science and art. Since my research is all about combining science and art, specifically through television, I wrote an essay about my recent master’s thesis.
Click here to download the third issue of NatureVolve by subscribing for free. My essay begins on page 38, although I recommend you take a look at the other great pieces as well.
Let me know what you think of the article in the comments section below! Also, if you were going to design your own wildlife TV program, what would it be about?
Great work, Josh! I’ve browsed and subscribed to your magazine. It’s a relevant and timely initiative, can’t wait to read your essay.

I would totally write about the most neglected but popular pets that people buy :) Looking forward to reading your piece!

I hope you like the piece! Neglected but popular pets would be a cool topic, but I’m not sure it’d fit NatureVolve too well. You could always ask the editor, though.
